Special swimming scheme

The Department of Education Swimming Scheme is a program that develops water confidence, improves swimming skills and teaches water safety. The Scheme is for students in Year 2.

Instruction is provided to students of all levels of swimming ability. The program is for all students to participate in. Students who can already swim will have the opportunity to learn different strokes or improve their technique.

Students will participate in a water safety program consisting of a 45 minute swimming lesson and 30 minutes of practical water sense lessons at Beresfield pool.

Students will travel to and from the pool by bus.
