Wheelie Wednesday will be back on Wednesday 4th May. All students 3 -6 are invited to bring in a scooter and ride it at lunchtime every second Tuesday on the Netball and Basketball courts. Miss Nelson and Miss Oke will set up a track for students to go around together with some extra teachers who are down for supervision.
Students can bring their scooter to school and store it near the Wellbeing HUB (not at the usual bike racks) on Wednesdays. Miss Oke and Miss Nelson will be around on Wednesday mornings to help out with this.
There will be strict enforcement of helmet wearing.
No Helmet No Ride No Exceptions.
At lunch time students can collect their scooter, wear their helmet and walk it to the Netball court, ride around then return their scooter just before the end of lunch to get back into class on time.

On behalf of our Thornton Public School community I would like to pay respect to Elders past, present and future. I would like to acknowledge the Wonnarua people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we are learning together and growing as responsible, respectful and resilient learners.
