Kindergarten Book and Resource Pack
The cost of the Book and Resource Pack for 2018 will be $50.00. Items in the pack will be provided to your child on their first few days of school and as required throughout the year. The items will be used in their classrooms and for home reading organisation.
The Book and Resource Pack consists of the following:
- Library Bag
- Home Reading Diary
- Maths Number Scrapbook
- Triangular shaped lead pencils
- Triangular shaped coloured pencils
- Glue sticksHome Reading Folder
- Notes and Information Folder
- Textas and crayons
Everyday your child will need to have at school:
- School Hat $15.00 – Purchased from the school office anytime
- School Bag/ Back Pack
- Lunch box
- Water bottle
- Fruit break containers (small and easy to use). If fruit is cut up and in containers please make sure they are small and easy to use.
First Day of School 2018
All Kindergarten students will begin at Thornton Public School at 11am on Tuesday 30th January 2018. More information will be sent out in Term 4 regarding first day of school organisation.
Kindergarten is an important year of schooling as children formally begin to develop their literacy and numeracy skills. Our whole school community will help your child adjust to school and help them to feel comfortable.
