Two Trenches One Letter - A story of our Ancestors
During semester one and two 8 students from Stage 3 have been involved with an innovative history project with TED Mersin College in Turkey.
The aim of the project has been to promote respect and understanding between the two groups of students by researching soldiers who served on both sides of the Gallipoli Campaign and sharing their research.
On September 25 the school will be holding an event which will provide an authentic forum for the children to communicate their research to an audience comprising the Australian and Turkish Communities. The true spirit of the Two Trenches One Letter project is to promote respect and understanding between the two groups
