Thornton Public School Learning from Home
As we return to learning from home we encourage our families to refer to information provided through the SZ app and also the school website for resources to support students with their learning. Please continue to review these platforms as we will continue to upload further content as required.
Week 1 – (6.8.21)
The Department of Education has developed a range of learning packages for parents and carers to assist them with learning from home. Each learning activity package has a parent/carer guide with instructions, with many containing multiple play and do videos and audio resources to help you with your child’s learning. Always read the instructions in the parent/carer guide first and download or print resources that are embedded in the guide, before starting each day. Many learning packages have multiple video and audio resources that provide self-guiding teaching segments and instructions for you and your child/ren.
In addition to the Department of Education learning packages we also encourage our parents and carers to use the following booklets to support our students with their learning from home.
